E=MC² Programme

The E=MC² acronym was born from a person's internal motive to make Money coupled with their levels of Creativity and taking this to another level in practice and it is the reaction of these that gives birth to Entrepreneurs.

The E=MC² Programme is an inspiring entrepreneurial programme, delivered by our enterprising consultants, staff and trained entrepreneurs, flexibly over two and half months. During the programme a group of 4-10 people as a team or individually (through our special one-to-one version of the programme) form a real business or social enterprise.

 In 2010 we worked with 253 offenders, of which only 11 re-offended after 4 weeks of starting and during our programmes Through positive engagement in enterprise and doubled the confidence levels of participants in application of number, team working, problem solving skills.54% of participants progressed onto employment, education and trainingand over half of these continued to be part of the business

During the E=MC² Programme, the budding entrepreneur participants will get the opportunity meet and pitch their ideas to our board of successful entrepreneurs and Non-Executive Directors. They will also be placed with a volunteer Entrepreneur Business mentor with experience of the field in which they decide to setup the product/service in. The mentor will help and support them in writing their business plan and taking their business forward, introduce them to their network and contacts.

The E=MC² Programme can provide participants with a Level 2 Award in Self Employment & Enterprise
